BlissDom started in October 2008 in the U.S. with the thought that conferences should be a place where bloggers could share an open, honest dialogue to help demystify the process and walk away with useful information.

After receiving rave reviews about their first efforts, BlissDom Co-Founders Allison Worthington and Barbara Jones realized they had captured a niche in the market that resonated well with women.  In February 2009, 250 women gathered once again at BlissDom (in Nashville, TN) which included an expanded two-day conference.

In February this year, BlissDom experienced explosive growth, with 750 women attending BlissDom at The Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. The conference featured expanded offerings for bloggers and brands making this a must-attend event for all.

With its past success and demand from bloggers and brands alike, BlissDom’s fabulous organizers along with Catherine Connors, whose dream it had been to have a social media conference in Canada, expanded BlissDom to Canada in October 2010. This was the 4th BlissDom conference and the first of its kind in Canada!
