Find Your Tribe
Conferences can be overwhelming. Take a deep breath and notice with relief that we have you covered: BlissDom Canada 2011 is designed with your ability to absorb and translate your conference experience in mind, thanks to the introduction of Tribe Leaders.
Tribe Leaders are experienced, encouraging, empathetic Thought Leaders from your particular areas of interest or “tribe.” Natural mentors, they know what interests you, what concerns you, what you want and need to explore in more detail, and they are prepared to help you maximize your BlissDom experience.
Friday morning, after the opening keynote, join your “tribe” (You pick! And you don’t have to choose just one – you can try as many as you can fit!) for roundtable discussions about what you are hoping to learn at BlissDom Canada as it pertains to your particular interests, what you need to discuss with experienced bloggers in your field, and share your anxieties and excitement in a comfortable group of people who truly get you.
Throughout the weekend, think of your Tribe Leaders as your mentors. Touch base with them when you aren’t sure which panels to attend, bounce ideas off of them regarding ideas you’ve heard, or just sit down together with anyone in your tribe and take a moment to catch your breath. You’ll soon realize that these relationships will extend far beyond the walls of BlissDom.
Saturday is your day to absorb everything you’ve seen and heard. Rejoin your tribe (or jump tribes!) and explore new ideas you’ve developed over the weekend (brainstorm!), address issues you hadn’t considered (ask questions!), and utilize your group as the resource that they are to enhance the opportunities that BlissDom Canada provides as a leading social media conference.
BlissDom Canada Tribe Leaders enable you to make the most of your conference experience, feel grounded, seen, and go forward empowered.
Illuminate. Invest. Implement.
