An innovative, entrepreneurial and strategic communicator who’s founding partner and co-owner of LeftTurn Strategy, a marketing and communications agency based west of Toronto. After hitting the milestone of 40, Ann-Marie decided to take a ‘left turn’ with her career and launch LTS with 2 female allies who ensure they always love the work they do. Their passion is making a difference with a wide range of clients – from youtubers to craft breweries, from bakeries to the non-profit sector.
In a previous life, this driven and creative entrepreneur founded and led a national parent-focused digital media and integrated event marketing corporation from 2007-2015. momstown Inc was the first Canadian digital community for parents and was an integrated marketing pioneer in the social media and digital space. Launched in Burlington in 2007, the organization expanded into 30 cities across Canada via licensed and corporately owned regional outlets. Ann-Marie led relationships with blue chip clients like Walmart Canada, Fisher-Price, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Kids CBC, Rogers Media, McDonald’s Canada, Scholastic Canada, Tropicana, Quaker and others.
Prior to entrepreneurship, Ann-Marie cut her teeth in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with 8 years of cross-functional marketing, trade and business development roles at Unilever Canada.
She’s also a mama of 3 school age kids who play a lot of sports!
